So I said I would post results from our backyard wrestling events. So here is the results. Like I've said, unfortunately, not yet we're going to put our videos anywhere, but soon I'll release my TWE micro sprites so you can get some kind of an idea what do we look like.
And this time we were on trampoline, since our sportshouse in the city is closed for two months.
So, about our Dead End, PPV's, they're one of our biggest events of the year along with Trampmania and Predator Series. The Dead End also usually included the 'Dead End'-match, which is basically a Career vs. Career-match.
So, the results and background stories:
Trampoline Wrestling Entertainment: Dead End 2012
9am-10:30am, October 20, 2012
Street Fight: Nitro Montana vs. Kyo Hachiro
Feud between Nitro Montana and Kyo Hachiro had been building up since Trampmania I, from May 3rd, 2012. They lost their TWE T Team championships, and in Kyo's opinion, it was Nitro's fault. The two were a succesful tag team, but Hachiro's attitude got the bitter of the man, and he turned on his partner on the May 7th edition of SmashUp!, when he interfered in Nitro's match and hit Nitro with a crowbar. Nitro wanted a match in the next episodde, but Kyo escaped the arena, and didn't appear in SmashUp until September 27th. There he agreed to face Nitro in a singles match at "TWE Santify Your Sins"-PPV on October 14th. However, at Sanctify Your Sins, the match ended in a DQ only after 3 minutes, when Hachiro hit Montana with his trademark crowbar, again. On SmashUp, October 18, Hachiro agreed to face Montana at 'Dead End', but only if it was a Street Fight. Montana agreed the challenge, and so 'Dead End' was here.
Your opening contest is a street fight match. The only way to win this match, is by a pinfall, or submission.
The match began with Montana trying to get Hachiro out of the ring/trampoline. He succesfully did, but it was a mistake since Hachiro got his crowbar from under the ring and hit Montana with it on the stomach. However, Montana got the grip of the crowbar and succesfully hit Hachiro in the head with it. Montana climbed to the apron and hit Hachiro to the ground with a giant elbow drop.
Montana took a few cardboard boxes, took them and Hachiro to the ring and set him up for a Nitro Driver, a reverse Chokeslam. However, Kyo countered with a German Suplex and Nitro went through four boxes. Nitro, laying unconscious, while Kyo took handcuffs and cuffed Nitro to the ring post. Hachiro got back in the ring with his crowbar, and began hitting Nitro with it. What looked to be the final and fatal shot, Nitro however dodged it and Hachiro hit the handcuffs, breaking them. Nitro attacked Hachiro with a series of jabs, suplex's and dropkicks. Hachiro, standing on the edge of the ring, got Speared out of the ring to the hard ground. The move still took energy out of Montana too, but he was able to get back on his feet, also bringing up Hachiro. Montana tried to perform the Nitro Driver, but quickly got a Stunner from Hachiro. Hachiro dragged Nitro back in the ring, but only a 2 count was the answer. Hachiro brought a small ladder near the ring, and was about to perform his 450 Splash, but got hit by a flying roundhouse kick from Montana. When he got up from that, he was hit by a Nitro Driver, and Montana got the 3 count, and was declared the better man.
Singles: Max Titan vs. Michael Styles (with Tommy Thunder as the Special Referee)
On SmashUp, October 12, Max Titan, "The Most Annoying Person To Ever Live" challenged anyone in the roster to fight him at "Sanctify Your Sins". When SmashUp GM Tommy Thunder came out that and told Titan that nobody wants to fight a person as annoying like Titan. Max got pissed of, and attacked Thunder. Tony Cole and Michael Styles come to Thunder's help and beat up Max. Max challenged Tony Cole to a match at Sanctify Your Sins for Cole's TWE Championship, which he agreed. At the PPV, Titan was on the upperhand, when he was attacked by Styles with a steel chair, and Cole was able to get the win. October 18th, on SmashUp, Titan challenged Styles to a match at Dead End, which he agreed. Tommy Thunder announced that he would be the special referee.
The following contest, is set for one fall!
The match began with Styles and Thunder discussing. Titan attacked Styles and threw him around the ring. Titan performed a 360 Splash and a couple of dragon suplexes, but didn't get to do a pinfall, because Thunder, as the special referee, always complained about something, which gave Styles time to counter. Styles got up quickly and hit Thunder with a powerful superkick. He went airbourne and did his own variation of the 360 Splash, but wasn't able to get the 3 count, when Titan hit him with a Codebreaker quickly. Titan tried to set up Styles for Titan's "Titanic", a two handed Chokeslam, but was stopped by Thunder who hit Titan in the head with a chair. Thunder then performed his Spike Piledriver on Titan, and Styles did his Side Effect finisher, and got the 3 count.
Dead End (Career vs. Career) for the TWE Championship: Tony Cole(c) vs Shane Zona
On SmashUp, October 18th, Shane Zona, a 3 time TWE Champion, came out for a promo, that at Dead End, he wants to challenge Tony Cole for his TWE Championship, and do his one last run. To add, he wanted the match to be a career vs. career-match, because if he loses, there wouldn't be anything what he would have to proove anymore. If he wins the championship, good, then he get's his last run and when his title run is over, his career would end anyway. Tony Cole, the current champion, had a lot of respect for Zona, and agreed his challenge.
The following contest is Dead End match. The only way to win this match, is by a pinfall or submission. The winner will be declared the TWE Champion, while the loser, has to retire.
The match began with the men shaking hands. They shared a long staredown before they got to combat. They shared simple grapple moves, suplexes, DDT's, dropkicks and such. The match was very tight, before Zona tried to do a hurricanrana on Cole, but he countered it with a powerbomb, tossing Zona out of the ring, to the ground. Zona rolled in pain while Cole jumped down and started to punch Zona in the head. Cole brought Zona back in the ring and performed a running clothesline to him. He tried to get the pinfall, but shockingly got only a 1-count. Cole took Zona back up and tried to do a new clothesline, but out of nowhere, Zona hit his signature maneuver, 'Hood Line', a superkick. Cole was knocked out cold, and Zona got him back to his feet, and hit Cole with his finisher, 'Streets 4Life', a jumping complete shot, which in so many other competitors had fallen before through Zona's 3 year old career. However, Cole kicked out on a 2-count. A shocked Zona went out of the ring and brought a cardboard box to the ring. He set up Cole for an another Hood Line, but Cole countered with a Rock Bottom. He brought a small ladder near the ring, and was about to hit the Swanton Bomb, but was caught with an another Streets 4Life. Zona climbed the ladder and went for a Shooting Star Press, but was caught in midair with a perfectly executed RKO by Cole, and was left in a 3 count.
After the match, the two shared a hug and a handshaked. Zona ended the event with a sentence from the past, which usually went "Shane Zona has arrived to the streets, bitches!" but this time, it went "Shane Zona, has left the streets...... bitches".
