Just wondering. The movements, the setting , the sticks. What do you consider a style?

To me, it's the way a person animates really, unrealistic, dreadfully smooth, impact packed, etc. It's really how you get remembered as an animator, Imo.

I always thought it meant the 'arena' you had.

that's what I would consider a style^, the arena, or background and ring whatever you have is considered a "style" in my opinion anyway, shows the creativity of the animator and also of course the way the animator animates with said style lol

Yeah people confuse it a lot because some people refer to backgrounds and arenas as styles but using a different background doesn't effect the way you animate so I think the actual way you animate is a style in the way Cross described it.

For me, the only thing that affects the quality of my animations is the arena and position I sit in when I animate. If I use the wrong arena or sit slightly in the wrong position, it is all ruined. But still, I consider style being the style you animate. Movements etc.

It has two definitions in my opinion. A style could refer to an arena, or possibly just the way in which one animates.
