From Wikipedia: "Red Bull Stratos is a project involving Austrian skydiver Felix Baumgartner and retired USAF Colonel Joseph Kittinger. The mission successfully flew Baumgartner approximately 39 kilometres (24 mi) into the stratosphere over New Mexico in a helium balloon before free falling and then parachuting to Earth. Baumgartner broke sound barrier on his descent, thus becoming the first human to do so without vehicular power. Baumgartner also attempted to break three other world records—the highest manned balloon flight, the highest altitude jump, and the longest time in free fall. The free fall was initially expected to last between five and six minutes; it ended after 4:22. The total jump (until contact was made with the ground) lasted approximately ten minutes."
Felix did it. That was fricking awesome. May be that he didn't break the record for longest freefall, but at least he did break the record of height and being the manliest man in this planet.
My hero.
